Understand the Science behind Organizational Change and Enterprise Agility

By Erich R. Bühler

A few days ago, I had the opportunity to give a talk to my friends from a New York business agility chapter. We talk about the science behind organizational change and Enterprise Agility.

In recent years, there have been several breakthroughs that have altered the way we look at organizations. In turn, I’ve also been working with a wonderful group of people on new theories that provide a different foundation than what we know as Agile or Business Agility. These new theories, practices, and mindsets are trying to take the organization to a new level, or what I see as the future of organizations… Enterprise Agility.

The Arrow Diversity Model for companies exposed to high uncertainty and Exponential Change

Many organizations struggle to have a strategy that properly addresses challenges related to equity, diversity, and neurodiversity. For some leaders, while morally desirable, it’s not easy for them to connect business goals with the benefits of those 3 areas.

In organizations that face high uncertainty and exponential change, there can be increased conflict because people might not feel safe. This can lead to individuals connecting more with those most similar to them. Market disruptions may also have an impact and force them to put their diversity plans on hold for the future in order to focus on issues they deem more pressing.

This is where the Arrow Diversity Model offers a great alternative. It provides leaders, managers, and others with clear incentives to increase diversity, equity, and neurodiversity. It also enables the development of techniques that link business strategy to business value and innovation in organizations with high diversity.

If you want to know more, we invite you to a free workshop where we explain the model, its basics, and how you can use the Arrow model in your company.
