We Visited Santander Bank and Talked About Enterprise Agility
|
Today was an incredible day! We had the honor of presenting our models of Enterprise Agility to an incredible audience of 200 people. We discussed the ways in which these models go beyond Agile and how they can help Santander effectively deal with accelerated change and markets that are in constant flux. Everyone in the audience was so excited to learn and understand the foundations of these practices and models, and to find out how they can be applied to their own areas.
|
I would like to thank Monica Acosta and Paola Guerra from Hanna, and the Santander Bank members who made this event possible. Without their tremendous support, this day would not have been possible. Together, we can all make a lasting impact in the world of organizations and continue to grow and keep up with the changing times.
|
We look forward to collaborating with more businesses around the world and continuing to spread the knowledge of these models, as well as our unique insights. We hope to keep inspiring everyone, and to empower organizations to tackle the challenges brought on by an ever-evolving world.

A Great Week at The Enterprise Agility World Community
|
By: Tania Serfontein. Regional Director at the EA World Community
Deep down, people long for security and love to know how to do things. Today, these two experiences seem to be reduced to very rare moments of bliss as we face rapid change in the marketplace that affects how we do business and live our lives.
At our first public Enterprise Agility Word Community Talk for 2023, moderated by Erich Bühler, we met today with over 100 change consultants from around the world to explore how we can best adapt to and manage change. From the conversations in the room, it was clear that change itself has been unleashed like a wild animal and that there are many challenges to overcome. What was inspiring about today's event was that these same consultants boldly raised their hands and said they want to know how they can support their clients, businesses, and organizations to be best equipped for change. It's clear that a new mindset is needed to address the many challenges that change presents.
We've explored how Enterprise Agility goes beyond the basics of traditional agility and business agility models to help individuals develop the right mindset, motivation, and resilience to deal with change, which ultimately drives workforce wellbeing.
When the workforce is doing well, the company can align to create value for its customers, the workforce, and the company itself. If the company can create value, it'll be successful. However, now more than ever, companies need to engage their workforce to navigate the waters of change.
|
One of the participants, who is a whitewater rafting coach and guide, used a very apt analogy. She imagined that we were all strapped into a wild rafting vehicle. The rapids come fast and furious, and it's up to our ability to bring the team together in the raft to ensure that both the team and the raft make it to the other end successfully.
An important takeaway from that day's conversation is to start thinking about how you can navigate your team, your company, or your organization—metaphorically—in the white water raft to live the values of always being always ready and innovative so that as a company, as an entity, you're able to be always responsive to the changes that are coming.
Let's equip ourselves, our teams, and our companies to respond to the changes that come our way and develop the solutions we need to be successful. We can do that now that we have access to powerful frameworks, models, and mindsets to succeed in the choppy waters of change. Finally, I'd like to express my deep gratitude to all the Ambassadors who have supported the EA World Community and to those who will be joining us in the coming weeks.JOIN THE COMMUNITY HERE

I believe it is important for you to know about our upcoming Certified Change Consultant training, Enterprise Agility Foundations, in Australia. The program is based on our Enterprise Agility Body of Knowledge and will be taught by industry expert Sandip Rananavare and will be conducted in English.
In today's rapidly changing business environment, companies face an increasing number of market disruptions and must adapt quickly to remain competitive. Many studies confirm the acceleration of markets, which puts pressure on people in the company and leads to the fact that many of the frameworks we know, such as Scrum or SAFe, cannot easily adapt to the new reality. That is why we started a few years ago to look for new solutions with the help of behavioral science and neuroscience of change.
